Upper Sandusky Police Department

An officer assisted a Bucyrus man with a vehicle unlock in the 1100 block of North Warpole Street the morning of Oct. 5. 

An Upper Sandusky man filed a report with the police station to begin the process of being issued a new driver’s license number the morning of Oct. 5. 

An officer on patrol observed an open door at a business in the 500 block of North Warpole Street early the morning of Oct. 6. The building was searched and no one was found inside. A note was left to have dispatch contact the business in the morning and advise it of the door.

Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Comfort Drive for an open 911 call the morning of Oct. 6. Contact was made with a Cleveland woman who advised she was fine.

A caller reported railroad crossing gates down on South Seventh Street with no train the morning of Oct. 6. The responding officer observed the gates had been activated due to train cars being loaded at the grain elevator. 

An Upper Sandusky man struck a deer with his vehicle in the 10000 block of CH 121 the morning of Oct. 6.

An officer assisted a Marengo woman with a vehicle unlock in the 800 block of North Sandusky Avenue the morning of Oct. 6.

A caller reported a possible motorcycle crash in the 600 block of East Wyandot Avenue the afternoon of Oct. 6. Contact was made with an Upper Sandusky man who said his motorcycle stalled on him and tipped over, but he was fine. 

A caller reported suspicious activity in a white barn on East Wyandot Avenue the evening of Oct. 6.
