Start of sewer separation postponed Posted on July 22, 2016 0 The sewer separation project in the city of Upper Sandusky slated to begin this week has been postponed until 7 a.m. Monday, a representative of the mayor’s office confirmed Thursday. After months of waiting for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency permits, city officials said the project would begin early Tuesday morning. But during a council meeting Monday evening, president Don Spiegel announced the contractor, Underground Utilities Inc., of Monroeville, postponed the start until Thursday morning. Mayor Scott Washburn’s secretary, Linda Stansbery, said Thursday the contractor again postponed the start of the project to early next week.
