Sycamore man’s death investigated as possible OD Posted on April 6, 2016 0 TIFFIN — (AP) — The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a Sycamore man who died of a suspected unintentional drug overdose at an Adams Township home Monday. Seneca County Sheriff Bill Eckelberry said the death of Jerry Fitzpatrick, 54, was being investigated as as a drug overdose. Officials were awaiting blood results Tuesday to determine which drug it could be, he said. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an unattended death at 4129 N. TR 190 just before 7 p.m. Monday. Eckelberry said Fitzpatrick was found alone in the residence. The SCSO, Seneca County Coroner’s Office and Republic EMS responded. Several items were found as evidence, according to a sheriff’s office report.
