Alice M. Weisenauer Posted on April 27, 2016 0 Alice M. Weisnauer ATTICA — Alice M. Weisenauer, of Bloomville, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at St. Francis Home, Tiffin. She was 91. Born April 6, 1925 in Crawford County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Laura (Alt) Studer. She married Arthur J. Weisenauer, who preceded her in death in 1997. Mrs. Weisenauer is survived by seven sons, James (Cathy) Weisenauer, David (Joan) Weisenauer, Edward (Pamela) Weisenauer, Roger (Kay) Weisenauer, Michael Weisenauer, Daniel (Becky) Weisenauer and Dwight (Angela) Weisenauer, all of Bloomville; two daughters, Mary (Harold) Kirgis, Attica; and Nancy (Edward) Yost, Carey; Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; four brothers, Richard (Dorothy) Studer and Gerald (Donna) Studer, both of Mansfield; Donald (Sandi) Studer, Medina; and Glen (Deb) Studer, Attica; and three sisters, Freda (Linus) Bishop, Mansfield; Joan Miller, Attica; and Agnes (Donald) Hocker, Centerville. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Weisenauer; and a and sister, Pauline Zeigler. Mrs. Weisenauer was a graduate of Lykens School and was a homemaker and farmed her entire life. She was a former member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and now Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Mrs. Weisenauer enjoyed being outdoors and raising chickens. A Mass of Christian burial is at 11 a.m. Friday April 29 at Our Lady of Hope Parish St. Stephen Chapel, located on CR 6, Attica. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, with a rosary to be prayed at 3:30 p.m., at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin St., Attica. Burial will take place at St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church through the funeral home.
