Doris Jean Thomas Posted on November 15, 2017 0 CAREY — A memorial service for Doris Jean Thomas, 92, a resident of Primrose Retirement Community, Findlay, and formerly of Carey, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at Christ Lutheran Church, Carey, with the Rev. William P. Schultz officiating. Mrs. Thomas died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, surrounded by her family. Visitation for family and friends is 6-8 p.m. Friday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, and for one hour prior to the service, 10-11 a.m. Saturday, at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church or Carey Food Pantry in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey, OH 43316.
