Dorothy Alice Thomas Posted on May 9, 2018 0 CAREY — Dorothy Alice Thomas, of Arlington, formally of Alvada, died at 10:24 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at her residence. She was 96. The funeral is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace United Methodist Church, Carey, with the Rev. Karen Farr and the Rev. James Sharrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, and for one hour before the service at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to Gideon International, Grace United Methodist Church or God Bless the Children Orphanage in Guatemala City, Guatemala, in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W.
