Dwight G. Altvater Posted on May 20, 2016 0 CAREY — Dwight G. Altvater, of Carey, died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016, at his residence. He was 74. Born Dec. 19, 1941 in Bucyrus, he was a son of the late Glenn F. and Martha R. (Passet) Altvater. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, with Brother Randy Kin officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carey. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Wyandot Council On Aging or Dorcas Carey Public Library in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W.
