Albus, 87, of Carey, died at 7:04 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, surrounded by his family. Family and friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey. A scripture service will be at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home before visitation. A Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, with Rev. J.R. Hadnagy, OFM Conv. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carey, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Carey Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Consolation School and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey, OH 43316.
