TIFFIN — Frederick Vincent Elchert, Sr., age 95, of New Riegel, passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2019, surrounded by his family.
His funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday at All Saints Parish at the New Riegel site with the Rev. Timothy Kummerer and Fred’s nephew, the Rev. Gary Walters concelebrating. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883.
Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Parish, Stein Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
