Pahl, 92, of Carey, died at 7:36 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1. 2019, at the Ohio State University Wexner Center in Columbus surrounded by his family. Family and friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey. A Rosary service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, with the Rev. Tom Merrill, OFM Conv, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carey. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Carey Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made at Masses or to the donor’s choice and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey, OH 43316.
