Kear, formerly of Wharton and most recently of Longmont, Colorado, died Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Alta Vita Memory Care in Longmont where he had lived for five years. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 13 at United Church of Christ, Longmont. Donations may be made to Crossroad, Fort Wayne Children’s Home, in lieu of flowers.
