Jerry D. Smith Posted on April 23, 2016 0 FOREST — Jerry D. Smith, of Forest, died at 11:31 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton. He was 71. The funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest, with Joe Searfoss officiating. Burial is at Patterson Cemetery, with military honors conducted by McVitty VFW Post No. 1182 and American Legion Post No. 259, both of Forest and Amvets No. 1994 of Kenton. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to the Jerry D. Smith Memorial Fund, in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home, 301 S. Patterson St., Forest OH 45843.
