Linda L. Althouse Posted on December 5, 2019 0 Linda L. Althouse, age 84, of Upper Sandusky, and formerly of Harpster, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care in Upper Sandusky.She was born May 30, 1935, in Harpster, to Arthur and Nadine (Smith) Mawer, both of whom are deceased. She married Thomas A. Althouse on Sept. 30, 1955, and he died on Dec. 8, 2013.Linda is survived by three children, Joe (Cindy) Althouse, Kenton; Amy (Mark) McIntyre, Bellefontaine; and Kevin (Tammy) Althouse, Auburn, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Allison (Jason) Taylor, Melissa (Justin) Issenberger, Ryan Althouse, Courtney (Sam) Shehadda, Patrick (Jackie Koerner) McIntyre, Lori Wilson, Quinton Althouse and Cole Althouse; along with nine great-grandchildren; A brother, Roger (Helen) Mawer, Harpster; and a sister in law, Carol Althouse, Harpster.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Irene Cochran, Mary Frances Wade and Jane Trease; and a brother, Steve Mawer.Linda had been a school bus driver for Ridgedale Schools for many years, along with working at the Steer Barn Restaurant in Upper Sandusky until her retirement.For hobbies, she enjoyed reading, supporting her children in their various activities growing up and spending time with her family and grandchildren.Memorial services for Linda L. Althouse are at noon Friday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating.
