Carver Gilliland, age 85, of Kenton, died at 12:19 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at St. Rita Hospital, Lima. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Umphress officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery, Mifflin Township, Wyandot County. Family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blanchard River Church of Christ in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home, 301 S. Patterson St., Forest, OH 45843.
