Parsell, age 90, of Upper Sandusky passed away at 9:11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the Wyandot County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky. Verify Your Subscription Arlene was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Upper Sandusky, to Lawrence and Natella (Morris) Heffelfinger, both of whom are deceased. She married Robert “Bud” Parsell on July 17, 1948, and he passed away Dec. 23, 2010. She is survived by a daughter Diane (Jeff) Grossman, Upper Sandusky; a son Gary (Jean) Parsell, Upper Sandusky; as well as seven grandchildren, Stacy Wilson, Amanda (Mike) Burkett, Megan (Nolan) Frey, Matt (Mindy) Parsell, Sarah (Bill) Knapp, David (Kristin) Gibson and Ann (Troy) Osborn; and 20 great-grandchildren. Arlene is survived by two sisters, Dorothy (Marion) Karg, Upper Sandusky; and Leah (George) Stephan, Belleview, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Beulah Yeater and Gladys Yeater. Arlene was a homemaker and helped her husband Bud with the family business, Parsell Plumbing & Heating, for many years. Her hobbies included sewing and rose gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services for Arlene L. Parsell will be private with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.
