Obit Fred Thompson Posted on December 22, 2021 0 CAREY — Fred L. Thompson, of Carey died peacefully at 8:45 a.m. Dec. 21, 2021, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky with family by his side. He was 73. The family will receive friends and family from 5–8 p.m. Monday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey. Fred’s funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with pastors Valerie and James Kizziah. Burial will follow at Van Horn Cemetery near Vanlue. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dorcas Carey Public Library or God’s Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God in Tiffin and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey.
