R. Joyce Derr Posted on May 28, 2019 0 R. Joyce Derr CAREY — R. Joyce Derr, 90, of Carey, died at 4:18 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019, at her residence with her family and caregivers by her side. Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, in Carey, where a Rosary service will be at 7:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey with Rev. J.R. Hadnagy, OFM Conv. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Carey. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice of Fremont, St. Joseph-Salem Heritage Society or C.L.C. and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W.
