Lortz, of Upper Sandusky and formerly of Carey, died at 10:51 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky. He was 97. A Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. today at the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation with the Rev. Vince Petersen, OFM Conv. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Salem Township near Upper Sandusky. Visitation was Monday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey.
