Richard M. “Colonel” Boose Posted on February 2, 2017 0 Richard M. “Colonel” Boose FOREST — Richard M. “Colonel” Boose, of Wharton, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky. He was 81. A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest, with Richard VanHorn and Wes Shrider officiating. Interment will follow at Wharton Richland Union Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Wharton First Church of God, Hospice of Wyandot County, Flag City Honor Flight, or American Diabetes Association in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home, 301 S.
