Robert A. Nutter Posted on November 2, 2019 0 Robert A. Nutter, age 71, of Upper Sandusky, passed away at 7:25 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, in the Emergency Room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky, surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born Sept. 22, 1948, in Tiffin, to William J. and Hazel (Parsell) Nutter, both of whom are deceased. Robert was previously married to Judy Smith and Jane Cook. On Sept. 1, 1991, Robert married Linda Gamel in Naples Beach, Florida, and she survives in Upper Sandusky. Robert is survived by six children, Andy Nutter, Upper Sandusky; Todd Nutter, Marion; Michelle (Ed) Johnston, Caledonia; Tonya Ballard, Marion; Chad (Tumpa) Nutter, Texas; and Brian Nutter, Marion; three step-children, William (Rebecca) Lambrite, Fayetteville, Arkansas; Terri (Rudy) Frey, Upper Sandusky; and Mark (Belinda) Lambrite, Jupiter, Florida; along with 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He also is survived by four siblings, Susan (Cliff) Beck, Bucyrus; William (Marti) Nutter, Columbia, South Carolina; Stephan (Deb) Nutter, Upper Sandusky; and Mark (Kristin) Nutter, Upper Sandusky.He was preceded in death by his parents and three granddaughters. Bob was a 1966 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves. Bob worked for Westinghouse/A.O. Smith and then Lowe’s Distribution in Findlay until his retirement. For hobbies, Bob enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and he loved to look for deer. Bob followed the Danger Brothers, and was an avid O.S.U. Buckeyes fan. Funeral services for Robert A. Nutter are 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery where military graveside rites will be held by the Upper Sandusky Color Guard. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
