Safety Blotter: October 5, 2019 Posted on October 5, 2019 0 Upper Sandusky Police Department An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Shields Drive for a report of a threat from a neighbor the night of Oct. 3. An Upper Sandusky man said a neighbor threatened him while he was walking his dogs. The man said he didn’t want to press charges, but did want a report on file in case something happened. An officer was dispatched to Wendy’s for a report of an intoxicated driver the night of Oct. 3. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle. Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office Jason M. Rohlf and Taya A. Rohlf, Upper Sandusky, were arrested on warrants from Upper Sandusky Municipal Court for failure to comply with a court order on a show cause hearing the afternoon of Oct. 3. A deputy was dispatched to the 15000 block of TH 71 for a report of a horse running loose the evening of Oct. 3. The horse was corralled to a fenced in area with the help of a neighbor. The owner was advised to fix a fence issue so horses would stop escaping. A Sycamore woman was traveling southbound on Ohio 231 near CH 16 when she struck a deer that entered the roadway, causing minor damage the evening of Oct. 3. Gae N. Beckley, Carey, was cited for failure to control after a one-vehicle accident the evening of Oct. 3. Beckley was southbound on U.S. 23 near CH 16 when a train was across the roadway. Beckley attempted to turn around on CH 16 and got stuck on the culvert.
