CAREY — Simon J. Schalk, of Carey, died at 5:24 a.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
He was 92.
A Mass of Christian burial is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Kummerer officiating.
Burial will follow at the parish cemetery, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the New Riegel American Legion Honor Guard.
Visitation is from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
