CAREY — Mayor Steven W. Smalley, of Carey, died at 8 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, surrounded by his loving family.
He was 56.
A Mass of Christian burial is at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Basilica of OLC with the Rev. Paul Faroh, OFM Conv., officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carey.
Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, where a scripture service will begin at 8 p.m.
