CAREY — Vicki Ann Smith, age 76, of Carey, passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, peacefully and unexpectedly, at the home her father built and she grew up in.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay St., Carey with Fr. Tom Merrill, OFM Conv. presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carey next to her parents and brother.
Donations may be made in Vicki’s honor to Our Lady of Consolation School (401 Clay St., Carey) or the Dorcas Carey Public Library (236 E. Findlay St., Carey).
