The Eagles (2-4-1, 1-0 NCOSA) scored three times in the first half to take control, each of them by a different player. After a goal by Toby Brown, Jarrett Birkemeier and Mack Smtih both scored on shots that deflected off of an Upper Sandusky defender. Jayden Herrera became the fourth different player to score for Liberty-Benton. Gabe Randall got the Rams (2-2-3, 0-1 NCOSA) on the board before a second goal by Herrera. The Eagles put 19 shots on goal, with Troy Hoffbauer making saves of 14 of them. The Rams had four shots on goal, with Liberty-Benton’s Ben Jenkins making three saves.
