Farmer triples twice in Riverdale win Posted on May 2, 2024 0 MOUNT BLANCHARD — Addie Farmer tripled twice, doubled and singled as Riverdale took a 17-7 run-rule victory against Arcadia in Blanchard Valley Conference softball play Wednesday at Riverdale. With the game tied at 2, the Falcons (10-8, 3-4 BVC) scored nine times in the second inning to take control and added three runs each in the third and fourth innings. Farmer scored three runs and had two RBIs. Mackenzie Furr, Eden Morris and Brooke Durenberger had two hits apiece. Durenberger also drove in two runs, while Furr and Miller scored twice each. Addi Manns was the winning pitcher, giving up just one earned run on seven hits and four walks with four strikeouts in five innings. Kateland Keefe and Alanna Tucker had two hits each for the Redskins (10-10, 4-4 BVC). Addy Colman doubled and scored two runs. Tucker was the losing pitcher, giving up 12 earned runs on 14 hits and five walks with one strikeout in four innings. The Falcons host Kenton at 5 p.m. Friday.
